We would like to commend you for the excellent work that you and your crew performed on very short notice. As a result of an accident, our garage wall was smashed open. This resulted in a demolished workbench and cabinets not to mention a gaping hole in the garage wall exposed to the elements. This occurred late on a Friday afternoon in the dead of winter. After contacting Built by Designs on Saturday morning your crew arrived that afternoon and went to work. To our amazement by Sunday afternoon the gaping hole was repaired, the outside wooden panels restored, a new workbench and cabinets installed. This work was done in a most professional manner at a reasonable price. Your courtesy and positive attitude was a delight to witness.

To sum it up......"WE LOVE OUR PORCH"
Chuck built our porch this past May. It is a 12 by 20 screened in porch with additional decking. The roof line blends in with our 19 year old home very well and looks as though it has always been part of the house. It has added another dimension to our home. I can honestly say that I have been on the porch more than my living room. Chuck's construction is far above some of the other work we have seen in the area. He really does care about the job and the customer!

Built by Designs and Chuck Miller constructed multiple additions and renovations to our 50 year old home while my four member family was living there. Chuck finished the project two months ahead of schedule and on budget. The project included a new kitchen/dining room addition with elimination/conversion of our old kitchen to a pantry and hallway on one side of the house, a new sunroom addition with a large storage space under it on the opposite side of the house, renovations to our living/computer room, and a newly renovated bathroom, exercise room, and walk-in closet in an unfinished basement. You can imagine the upheaval in our home! Chuck and his crew’s attention to detail and quality, dedication to our project, and sensitivity to and consideration of our family’s needs during the construction phase was most impressive and refreshing. Working with them was great even under trying conditions. We have now lived in our “new” home for over a year, and we are even more convinced than ever of the wisdom of our choice of contractors and the value we received in the finished product. I had a set of plans drawn up by Chuck back in 2007 and everything went great. I had an idea what I wanted and he took it from there. We met, made some small adjustments and the plans turned out great. I had no issues getting them through the county plan review. Chuck was quick in getting the plans back to me even though I told him I was not in any rush. Working with Chuck was very easy. I have and will continue to tell people about Chucks drafting and plan abilities.
